I got several pairs of wool underwear (Smartwool and Woolly iirc) for a trip that had me living out of a backpack for several months a couple of years ago. I loved the material for all the reasons it gets sold to travelers for - very breathable, anti-stinky, easy to sink-wash because they dry super fast - but the selections of cuts was atrocious, everything was too low rise for my taste. I dealt with it for the trip but when I got home I admittedly went back to cuts that I liked better in spite of the fabric. I haven't looked since 2023, I hope they've broadened the offerings.

Thanks for sharing this! Smartwool is on my list of brands to try for SURE and I've not heard of Woolly, so I'm excited to check them out. Did you see my Allbirds review? Talk about horrible fit 👀

I just looked at the Allbirds review because I hadn't read it before and that is good to know because I was kinda interested in them. Another one that I'm looking to try a pair of sometime is Wool&, I like a lot of their dresses and tops for the quality and fabric, they might be worth considering for the list if they're not on it. They added underwear in the last year or two and initially had that low rise issue I don't love, but I looked again and there's a high waisted option now.
